At the start of the game, Vietnam sets up their side with a 4-cup diamond (Ho Chi Minh) and 4 individual cups (Viet Cong) in any formation around Ho Chi Minh. These ‘Viet Cong’ cups do not have to touch any other cup, but they can be removed with country abilities, or collateral from bounce shots. All Viet Cong cups must be sunk before any Ho Chi Minh cups are removed. One re-rack is allowed when 3 Ho Chi Minh cups remain.
