South Africa has a normal 10-cup setup, however, the three corner cups are protected and cannot be sunk until a re-rack is called, or there are less than 6 cups remaining. These corner cups cannot be affected by other countries’ abilities, nor affected by grenades or chosen as collateral from a bounce shot. When there a re-rack is called (or less than 6 cups remain), normal beer pong is played.
