Romania

Vampire Castles

Difficulty: ★★★☆☆

At the start of the game, Romania sets up with a normal 10 cups. In addition, they also place two seperate ‘castle’ cups anywhere on the table. Adjacent to each castle, horizontally, Romania places a ‘vampire’ cup. While the vampire cups are on the table, the opposition can only sink one cup per turn (remaining shots are forfeit). To remove one of the vampires from the table, the opposition can either sink the vampire cup (stake through the heart), or adjacent castle cup (exposure to sunlight). Once both vampires are killed, the opposition continues with normal pong. Vampires/castles are not included in re-racks, but do not need to be sunk to win the game.

AllBounce shots still count as removing 2 cups, even if vampires are still in play. Vampire cups cannot be chosen to remove as the second cup, however.
VariousCountry abilities can’t move or remove castle/vampire cups. E.g., Egypt can’t move around vampire cups.
VariousCountry abilities that increase the amount of shots taken on your turn (e.g. Portugal) are still affected by the vampire rule. Only one cup can be sunk per turn.
