At the start of the game, Nigeria’s centre cup is a ‘Scam Cup’. If the Scam Cup is sunk before any of its neighbours, the opposition loses a cup of Nigeria’s choice. If any adjacent cup is sunk first, the scam is revealed and the ability is removed. The ability is reset at each re-rack called by the opposition and Nigeria gets to choose the location of the new scam cup. A grenade in the Scam Cup, or bounce shot landing in the Scam Cup, results in the opposition drinking two cups and Nigeria drinking no cups. Nigeria cannot win the game from this ability.
