- Monaco’s guess includes all cups the opposition sinks on either side of the table. Meaning, the opposition could sink their own cups to prevent Monaco from guessing correctly.
- Japan: Cups sunk through Japan's Kamikaze ability count towards Monaco's guess.
- Any cups sunk through consecutive balls back count also count towards this total. Meaning, if the opposition sinks two cups, then receives balls back and sinks one more, the correct answer is three.
