- England can activate their ability during the opposition’s turn. However, the ability cannot be applied retroactively. For example, if England activates Royal Decree after the opposition sinks a grenade, the grenade still counts as normal.
- If England have one cup remaining, Royal Decree is active, and the opposition lands a grenade in their final cup, England still progresses to redemption. In this scenario, a grenade does not end the game.
