Difficulty: ★★★★☆

At the start of your turn, “lend” 2 cups to the opposition. They choose where to place them, but must touch their game cup. If the opposition then misses all shots for 3 turns in a row, collect back these cups, as well as 2 more of the opposition’s choice. If the opposition does sink a cup within the 3 turns, the cups are returned with no punishment. Ability can only be used when both teams have 5 or more cups and cannot be used to end the game (one cup is left behind).

n/a6-cup variation: Only one cup is lent to the opposition, and two cups are returned.
AllThe opposition cannot sink the cups lent to them to prevent additional cups being returned to Switzerland.
AllIf Switzerland accidentally sink one of the cups they lent, the opposition must drink it and remove it from play, but no debt is applied.
VariousAny rules that give countries unique setups or spacing requirements are ignored. For example, cups may be placed anywhere adjacent to cups from North Macedonia or Vietnam, but do not impact how the rules play out. Think of any borrowed cups as separate from the rules, but these cups will (usually) have to be sunk to win the game.
